This is a foundational rule book in the modernized jousting sport world, and has been borrowed and adapted by other international associations, including the American Jousting Association and the European Jousting League. ·                                       Inspecting field conditions prior to event and making sure all field equipment meet safety standards. 

·                                       Managing up to 40 persons, including field assistants, judges, media, and competitors, as well as 20 or more horses at a time on one tournament field, all while keeping the event on schedule.  

·                                       Meeting with the Emergency Medical Crew and Veterinarian on the premises to establish an action plan, in case of injury to a horse or rider during the tournament.
